Shop This Post Widget Setup
You can either use RewardStyle or ShopStyle to insert your shop feed. However, this tutorial will only focus on creating your feed via ShopStyle.
1. Sign Up for the ShopStyle Affiliate Program
First, you need to sign up for an account through Shopstyle Collective. To do this go to shopstylecollective.com
2. Create a Widget
After you have signed up, log into your account. Then you must create a widget. To do this click on the Create button and then click the Product Widget.
3. Search and Select Your Items
Now select the items you would like to have placed in your widget. You may search for specific items by using the search tool, or you may browse the selection by brand, category, retailer, etc.
4. Add Your Items to the Widget
After you have selected the items you wish to have added to your widget, hover over the product and click the ‘Add to Widget’ button. Do this for every item you wish to have displayed within your widget.
5. Build Your Widget
Once you have all of the items you wish to have displayed in your widget you’ll then want to build it. You can do this by clicking the ‘Build’ button in the top right-hand corner of your screen. You’ll then come to the preview page of your widget, here you can size the widget the way you want it. Also, you can change the display, image size, rows, and columns.
6. Publish
Once you have your widget structured the way you want it, you’ll then want to publish it. You can do this by clicking the Publish button in the top right-hand corner of your screen and click the Copy Embed Code button.
7. Verify Custom Fields are Turned On
Before you can add the shop widget to your blog post, we need to verify custom fields are turned on. To do this click the 3 dots at the top right corner of your blog post window and select Preferences.
From here navigate to Panels and toggle the Custom fields to on.
8. Adding The Feed to Your Blog Post
To add your shop widget to your blog post scroll down to Custom Fields. Click the Add Custom Field button. For the Name select shop_look and in value paste the code that you copied from ShopStyle. Click Add Custom Field button again and select shop_title in value you may title it whatever you want. When you are done you may Publish your blog post.
