Set Up Featured Categories in Mackenzie

Your banner images is the featured images that show up right below your slider. These will redirect you to any page in or outside your website. To get these up you will need to set up 4 images in your ‘Featured Pages Area’ using the Image Widget.

Only the banner area will be clickable; however, to make the banner and title clickable you would need to download the plugin: Widget Title Links

Upload the ZIP file that you downloaded to your plugins directory Appearance > Plugins > Add New.

After installing and activating the plugin you will notice a new area being displayed at the very bottom of the image widget named: Title link. You would insert the same url link in this location as you did in the Link area.
